Introduction
I recently bought an Avistar Elite .46 ARF by Great Planes for flying with a flight instructor at my local hobby club. Before we went to the club and start flying, he and I (mostly he) made some adjustments to the plane for getting the perfect trainer for me. Basically, I changed some settings to get better results from the stock options.

Review of the Avistar Elite .46 ARF by Great Planes – The perfect motorized trainer for beginners
Introduction
At the beginning of the 2014 season, I decided to join a local RC club to get to know good experienced people that would give me advices on the best practices for flying. I also decided to find a flight instructor that would assist me and help me with all the technical details that I am still lacking. When we met, he strongly suggested that I leave the Hobby Zone Super Cub behind and get to a wooden motorized trainer plane like the Avistar Elite .46 ARF by Great Planes, which I did.

The Good
After 1½ month of flying the plane, I was feeling a little more confident and I trusted enough myself for doing loops. So at the end of the 2013 season, I went flying with a friend with my Super Cub LP. I wasn’t expecting any disaster…

During summer 2013, I have found myself with a high interest in flying an RC plane. I didn’t know what to expect from this but I wanted to get a new toy to play with. Like everyone, I thought that flying a plane was not that hard and that I could easily manage to fly any kind of plane. I was wrong.
